Ive not always been a 'fruit' person. It was only around two years ago that I started to eat it regularly. Since then I have sampled all sorts of fruits, and have fallen in love with many. The kiwi in particular is a favourite of mine, and since Tesco is my local supermarket, I often devour their options!
Brand: Tesco

Appearance: hairy, brown
Taste: kiwi!, fruity
Texture: soft
Price: £1.50

Okay so now you know the basic facts lets look a little further. The packaging itself is nothing to get over excited about. The kiwis come in a basic plastic tub with a little flimsy handle. It's hardly anything that would attract you. However its clearless does have its advantages - it allows you to see into the kiwis themselves. Kiwis in general are not the most exciting of fruits to look at, brown and hairy and quite dull with their rounded shape. Though at least they look 'healthy' - I've never had a bad kiwi from tesco before.
Cutting a kiwi in half you will see the fruit inside is quite a bright green, compared to some of the darker kiwis Ive had before. It doesn't have much of a scent, but that isn't a flaw. Taking a spoon you can scoop out some of the kiwi and pop it into your mouth. On doing so you will find it is actually quite soft and delicious, with a mild fruity flavour. It's one that will quench your thirst with its delicious kiwi taste, as well as providing you with a filling snack (I recommend two kiwis as they are not overly huge).
Seeing as these are fruit, there is no surprise that they are good for you! They can help you on your way to that recommended five a day. A pack will cost around £1.50, which gives you, if I remember rightly, eight or so kiwis. If you are having two a time, then that is at least four portions of fruit for you, making it around 40p a portion - not bad at all!
I adore kiwis and am glad that tesco offer such a delicious product. If you have never had kiwi before then these are great ones to try for a first time, and of course will provide great satisfaction to those already hooked on the fruit. They're winners with me and I am sure they will be for you too!
