They will carpet a shady area with oval, mid-green silver-tinged leaves with mauve-pink or yellow flowers in spring/summer. Lamiums are spring or summer flowering perennials which provide elegant groundcover in shady areas of your garden. They are fully hardy and though they like moist shade a well-drained soil is required as they don't like excessive 'winter wet'.
