Bright, but Watered down. (Sweet Peppers)

Advantages: Colourful, Inexpensive, Big

Disadvantages: Watery Plain taste.

Although they look very nice and come in a multitude of bright colours, in my opinion Peppers are exceptionally bland and I do not personally like them that much. In this review, I will cover my reasons why.

When you bite into a pepper, although there is some crunchy flesh with a small amount of flavour, you will fiarly quickly realise that a large proportion of this vegetable is water. Peppers are exceptionally watered down in my opinion, and are probably very good for rehydration, though possibly not for flavour. For that, a Tomato does a much better job.

Having mentioned the watery taste when raw, Cooked peppers are much nicer and Peppers do taste quite nice on Kebabs, I assume because they loose a lot of their water during the cooking process. BBQ'd peppers are a particular favourite, along with onions and red meat on a skewer.

Although I have been quite broad with my negativity towards the pepper up till now, I would like to probe into the Pepper World a little bit more deeply.

I would rank my Pepper's in terms of niceness as follows:

1. Green
2. Red
3. Yellow/Orange Joint

So there you have it, in my opinion, Green Peppers are the most flavoursome and nice.
