Oh, boy. I live near loads of thornless blackberry bushes and I also find them relatively easy to grow in my back garden. Not only are they easy to take care of, i.e. they need minimum sunlight (that's what I've got in my garden) but quite a lot of water (I live near to some gravel pits). A bird in the hand is worth millions in this bush! - Advantages: No thorns., Yummy blackberries. - Disadvantages: Blackberries can go mouldy if left in bottom of handbag for long time.
