There was a special cleaning cloth provided, as you do need to be careful when cleaning Plasma TVs. Panasonic TH-37PX80 ... criteria for a TV were: * 32 or 37 inch * Good picture in SD (normal TV, ie freeview) * I didn t need a full HD TV as I do not own anything HD and am unlikely to get any HD hardware in years. * TV picture needed to be good from 6 - 8 feet away My biggest annoyance with flat screen TVs are the grainy pixelated edges you get on the picture. This drives me absolutely nuts. When asking staff/colleagues about this I was told it s to do with the transmission from the TV channel and the size/distance away from the TV. I m still not 100% convinced by this though. My initial research for a new television started with a trip to Comet. I wrote down all the TVs that I liked ... Samsung PS-42A456P ... say size does not matter, but I m realising it does. We have had a pretty rough run on TV s over the last two years, our 28" Phillips CRT (Cathode Ray Television (big chunky thing)) television died three times in as many months (foreign components from Turkey thought to be the blame), when we moved across to 32" Samsung CRT things were far more reliable, but this lovely TV was doomed on its arrival in our house as Hi-Definition transmissions first bought a Blu-Ray player then Hi-Definition TV channels into the home. At this point I won a television so big that it literally took over the house this 56" Samsung LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) also had limit... Samsung PS-50A756 ... wife and I decided to buy this TV as an early Christmas present for ourselves to replace our 40" Samsung LCD. I m so glad that we did, and more importantly, so is the wife, who is normally not so free with our money :) First of all, set up was extremely easy, basically take it out of the box, plug in the power and it was good to go. While the set isn t overly heavy, the sheer size means that you will need two people to lift it onto your stand. I honestly don t feel I could get a better picture on any other TV than I do on this, well not so my eyes would notice the difference anyway.
