Samsung PS-50C7H ... purchased this TV back in April 2007, after my previous LG 42" Plasma went faulty. The TV is 50" HD ready plasma (720p or 1080i is it s maximum output) It weighs in at arrond 45kg including the table top stand. This set has a matt black finish, with a silver strip across the bottom, which I feel breaks up the huge black screen nicely. There the Samsung logo located at the footer, with the power button underneath this. Now, for a ON/OFF button, it is damn sexy. It lets of a circular blue glow when on standby, and flashes each time you change the chanel / adjust the volume. LG 42PC1D ... purchased this TV back in november 2006. It was my first Plasma / HD ready TV, and I loved it (after going from a 42" Rear projection TV) My first impressions were wow! . It makes me giddy now thinking just how great this TV was for it s price. I paid around £1,200 for the set, plus another £300 for a stand and surround sound kit. At the time of purchase I didn t have a HD source, but an xbox 360 was quickly aquired to test out the HDMI connectivity. Standard definition (SD) was great using the in built freeview, and the High definition (HD) was just amazing, which had an maximum output of 720p. Panasonic TH-42PZ80B ... fiancé and I have been wanting a plasma TV for a while now... more so for vanity than as a necessity as our 32 inch sharp CRT TV was working perfectly fine and as we have so much other stuff to pay for (decorating things for the house like a new bathroom suite, tiles, carpet for the stairs, landing and bedrooms etc as the list goes on and on plus trying to save up to get married without having to get into loads of debt) so to me, buying a new TV wasn t really top of our priorities list; although my fiancé was desperate to get one.
