Panasonic TH-42PW5EX ... TH-42PW5 is a 42" plasma screen made by Panasonic. As the screen itself doesn t have an integrated tuner, you ll need to purchase an additional receiver box - the TU-PT600 should do the trick. In terms of appearance, this particular model is very pleasing - the grey / silver surround is fairly thin and the buttons (located on the bottom left hand corner) are small and unobtrusive. Picture quality is fantastic. This particular model is not HD ready, so unfortunately it can t handle the higher resolution image, however, the overall sharpness is great and colours are accurately represented. Panasonic TH-42PA50 ... Plasma screen is the only one of its kind that i have ever had. However from seeing friends and families purchases on this matter, i thouroghly recommend this product. The picture quality is remarkably good and although the speakers are not very powerful they seem to give good enough volume and quailty for most viewings. The modern colour scheme and stylish looks make this the highlight of any room, as well as complimenting many existing furniture and wall coverings due to its neutral and clean cut appearence. Panasonic is an industry leader in manufacturing superb plasma TVs and this particular model is no exception. I purchased my TV about three weeks ago for around $1,800. When deciding which set to purchase, I looked at two factors... price and picture quality. The price is great for the size of the screen and the picture quality is second to none.
