Svend+Pri LG 50PC51: ... there, My name is Svend Pri, and I m pro badminton player. As a sportsman, I enjoy following sports on tv a lot, and require a pristine, sharp and smooth picture. Nothing but the best will suffice for me, and nothing is more demanding on modern tvs than fast moving sports like badminton. I must say that, as always I was very skeptical when I received the television, because experience has learned me that almos...

... only recently got this television as my toddler wacked my Sony Bravia 40 LCD with a magic wand and smashed the internal LCD screen. Being beyond Eco repair off we went in search of a telly to mo*nt on the wall (not a look a like bt kids have made it a real need) We got £700 from my insrance company. The Sony was 2 years old, doble the price and half the featres of many of the tellys arond. The item is 100hz which was an important factor, I also had to have bilt in freeview, which comes as standard with most the new sets. I felt this was a good 50 TV for the money. Its on the wall now, so here goes. The telly is imposoing as very shiney black, bt fine. The on off btton...

... purchased this TV back in november 2006. It was my first Plasma / HD ready TV, and I loved it (after going from a 42" Rear projection TV) My first impressions were wow! . It makes me giddy now thinking just how great this TV was for it s price. I paid around £1,200 for the set, plus another £300 for a stand and surround sound kit. At the time of purchase I didn t have a HD source, but an xbox 360 was quickly aquired to test out the HDMI connectivity. Standard definition (SD) was great using the in built freeview, and the High definition (HD) was just amazing, which had an maximum output of 720p. The speakers on the set weren t great for watching films or playing...

... used to have a sony rear prjection TV. Unfortunatly that broke so we got a new TV. We liked the look of this one in the shop. I noticed a white halo around people at first but I got used to it. I hardy notice it at all now otherwise it is a lovely picture and looks great and is really big. You really wouldn t get away with it in a small room so plan carfully before buying. However it is increadibly thin and can be mounted on the wall or sit on it s stand. We have ours on a stand I was worrid about it falling over at first. But not anymore it s very sturdy. I also love that it has a silver stripe across the front as this matches any silver colour accessorise that we ...
