I recently bought one of these sets from a a Panasonic dealer for £650,which included a five-year Panasonic warranty,which you have pay extra for in most retailers.The set looks stunning,even when it is switched off,in its lovely piano black finish.Setting up is child s play and in no time at all, is up and running. Picture quality is superb,and adds a new dimension to your living room.I wanted to buy a home cinema system at the same time,but decided to wait a bit and see what the set sounded like without one.I m glad i didn t buy a sound system,because the audio quality on the TH-42,is quite amazing.The bass is really deep ... Panasonic TH-46PZ80 ... was in the market for a new TV to replace my 32" widescreen CRT by Goodmans before Christmas. Before I saw this product, I would definitely not buy a plasma and wanted an LCD, believing that they were superior. I had looked at LCDs on the Internet and then went to my local shop, Stuart Westmoreland. The LCDs looked brighter and, at first, more impressive. The BBC HD preview was on, which was good because it showed a mixture of programming, e.g. nature and tennis. It was clear that the plasma gave more natural colours and, on the tennis, the motion was much more fluid compared to the LCDs. Panasonic TH-37PX8 ... had a normal widescreen JVC tv before i managed to convince my wife that a plasma HD tv was necessary. I m so glad i did its great especially for gaming. I have an Xbox360 which runs games on HD and what a differance it makes to my gaming pleasure. We were origionaly going to buy a 32" but when we went to look at them my recognised that we were as well going for the next size up which was a supprise to me. It looks fantastic and comes with two sockets to put scarts into, two HD sockets and numerous other plugs at the back. It also comes with freeview built in.
