... had a normal widescreen JVC tv before i managed to convince my wife that a plasma HD tv was necessary. I m so glad i did its great especially for gaming. I have an Xbox360 which runs games on HD and what a differance it makes to my gaming pleasure. We were origionaly going to buy a 32" but when we went to look at them my recognised that we were as well going for the next size up which was a supprise to me. ... Panasonic TH-42PZ80B ... this TV last year, in fact early last year and it looked the biz as soon as it came out of the box. Fortunately my supplier delivered, did all the minor assembly of stand, etc, cabled all the kit up (including my DVD and PVR) and tuned everything in. I did have to help the guy carry it in and it was heavy so definitely a two man job. The Panasonic has a marvelous picture; colours like you wouldn t believe and sound nice too. Fiddling with the many setting options does produce results but to be honest I haven t really taken the time to suss out as to what s best. Panasonic TH-37PE50 ... lets get a couple of things out of the way. This is a standard definition (SD) plasma televsion and it does not have any HDMI ports. BUT, the picture from this set is absolutely superb. We have owned our set for about 5 years now and always been very happy with the picture quality. We moved from a 28 inch (CRT) Sony TV and was a bit concerned that the picture quality was not goin to be as good as it, but we had no reason to be as it is crisp and sharp. We currently have a V+ box plugged into the component input at 720P. This was previously a XBOX360 (at 720P) and the picture was amazing (don t ask me how but the picture looks loads better at 720P than at standard ... Read the full review: I like my SD TV by GazH |

Panasonic TH-37PX80 ... this TV just over six months ago so I have spent plently time looking at this great piece of kit! It might not be the most stylish TV on the market (there were some really nice LG ones when I was looking) but at the end of the day picture quality is (or should be) the most important. Some of our friends have now delved into the big screen TV market have bought based on price without looking at the specs or having even seen the TV working (get your argos special deal Accoustic Solutions now - NOT!) only to get home and start complaining about the picture being grainy and, well to be blunt - crap!
