Advantages: A great big telly for a small price Disadvantages: Bit ro*gh arond the edges and qality a little poor I only recently got this television as my toddler wacked my Sony Bravia 40' LCD with a magic wand and smashed the internal LCD screen. Being beyond Eco repair off we went in search of a telly to mo*nt on the wall (not a look a like bt kids have made it a real need) We got £700 from my insrance company. The Sony was 2 years old, doble the price and half the featres of many of the tellys arond. The item is 100hz which was an important factor, I also had to have bilt in freeview, which comes as standard with most the new sets. I felt this was a good 50' TV for the money. Its on the wall now, so here goes. The telly is imposoing as very shiney black, bt fine. The on off btton is annoying, it isn't easy, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't so one ends yp pressing it a few times to switch on or off at the tv itself. The remote and fnctions are limited, I had a very good g*ide and men* in the Sony and was very sensitive to to*ch, this one is not very responsive and behaves like its permently low on battery, when they are new. Pict*re qality is fantastic, clear, great resoltion and great clarity. A nice natr*ral screen. the so*nd on the other hand is a little harsh. It needs to be kept q*ite low as can be booming. Over all, fantastic vale for money, great for a family room as I have it, bt for the serios gamer or bl*-ray techie, perhaps not the best. Summary: Great if yo want a nice big telly, bt its not in any way top end. |
