I purchased this television in 2008 for around £900. It is a fantastic TV with amazing HD graphics. It has 3 HDMI ports, 2 Scart sockets, an AV port, a USB port, and built in Freeview. The amount of sockets is outstanding! It has a 50 inch screen which is very high quality and it is very thin and great looking. The menu screen is very easy to understand and doesn't take long at all to set up.
I haven't found any software problems with this TV at all. It operates perfectly fine and is the best television I've ever had. There is one slight issue I have, and that is, when you turn it off, it is always on standby. You have to unplug it to stop any electrical drainage, and therefore, save money.
However, recently, the screen has developed 8 or 9 subtle vertical lines through the screen which are most visible on red, but are always there. This may be because recently we have had work done to our house and it has been quite dusty in here. I have cleaned out and hoovered the inside of the TV and it hasn't seemed to make any difference.
I still wouldn't rule out the idea of it being because of the dust, and would still highly recommend this television to anyone. But, just be weary of it and try to keep it clean just in case!
Realizing 100Hz effect of 'moving picture resolution' PG4000 not only plays high-speed moving images clear as a still-cut, but also prevents optical fatigue. With astonishing response speed of 0.001ms, it can display high quality images even in fast moving images such as sports, action movies and video games. It makes dynamic scenes more realistic and movements more natural.
