is 100hz which was an important factor, I also had to have bilt in freeview, which comes as standard with most the new sets. I felt this was a good 50 TV for the money. because experience has learned me that almost no television can hold up to my high standards (especially Philips LCDs have been extremely disappointing in quality, BEWARE! of that inferior brand).
