Advantages: Sound and Picture Quality
Disadvantages: Can Blur with non - HD pictures at high speeds
I spent a lot of time researching HD TV's before making my purchase. I checked all of the major manufacturers including Sony, LG, Sharp, Samsung, Philips and a couple of others.
The Panasonic TV is very similar to the quality of the Sony and those two companies were the ones that stood out. The Panasonic did have a couple of advantages over the Sony. The sound quality was better and the colours on the panasonic are better.
This TV offers all the way up to the 1080i resolution choice and it also manages to convert original definition images to provide greater detail so the blotchiness seen on some HD TV out there is significantly reduced. This TV can also produce 29 million different colours.
Initially i was very happy with the new TV very good picture and sound quality. When I watched some faster paced programmes it did blur and get blotchy. However this was still better that any normal TV
It was not until I purchased Sky HD that the TV came into its own. When watching something like a football match you can pick out every action fro every person in the crowd the detail is that good. Planet Earth was also played in HD and you just can't compare it to normal definition it is truly amazing
Summary: One of the Best TV's you can buy

- 30/01/07 A good review however no mention of cost or if you shopped around etc and the info is pretty basic on the tv, not a review that would enable me to make my decision.
