After doing a lot of browsing and searching around i narrowed my tv search down to this one and the very similar spec TX-L42E30B.
The final choice i had to make, which i believe is a personal preference, is LED/LCD and PLASMA. I was tempted by the LED/LCD as it was the cheaper of the two models.
The TV is stunning visually- it is in high definition and the quality of the images on the screen is top notch. Believe me when i say this product looks much more spectacular in person than what it does online or in photos. The picture starts off very clear and crisp but you have the option to adapt and adjust the quality controls to suit your own personal taste. I was a little disappointed with the audio quality- five minutes in the sound menu had it sorted by changing the graphic equalizer to get a decent output for a flat screen tv.
If you have no desire to watch 3D- then i would recommend this product. Although it is a 2D TV the quality is so high i think this product would rival most cheaper 3D products.
It has a thick screen surround sound which can make the product look a little dated.
I don't like the remote control, visually it looks very complicated and the buttons are very small!
So this cost £1000 (approx) so you are paying for a high end product but it depends how much you use your television!
