Lets be straight about this from the off: this isnt a top-of-the-line tv. Its a 50" plasma for less than £1000. As a 'budget' big tv though, it is superb. I spent a month going back and forth between LG, Sony Bravia and Samsung. My 2 previous tv's have been Samsung LCDs and I have nothing but praise for them. But all the smart people in the know switch to plasma when going for 46" or above. I compared the different options side by side in Currys and this one looked the best to me.
