Pioneer PDP-503MXE ... light reflection over existing models. The new displays boast an impressive footprint of 1218 x 714 x 98 (W x H x D), weigh 38.9kg and feature built in 12W x 12W amplifiers. Power consumption is a key criteria for corporate users and the improvement in the brightness output has been achieved with no loss in efficiency. The PDP-503MXE has the lowest power consumption in its class (380W per hour) and overall power consumption can be 20% lower in Energy Save mode. PC compatibility is also important for the corporate market. The PDP-503MXE has been designed to meet the standards of the Windows Hardware Qualification Labs and can be used in a windows environment, including Microsoft plug and play.

The PDP-503MXE can be viewed at an angle of 160 degrees both horizontally and vertically with no flicker or distortion and meets the demands of a range of professional and business applications including displaying information at airports, retail facilities, public events and in meeting rooms. The PDP-503MXE offers superb picture quality with Pioneer's CLEAR Drive Technology - which cannot be achieved with either a CRT or LCD display. The picture technology features higher grayscale, more colors and wide XGA resolution (1280 x 768). The pure color filter significantly decreases external light reflectivity to achieve higher levels of contrast even in direct light. The filter also reduces the unnecessary frequency of the red, green and blue signals to deliver greatly improved color reproduction. This feature is complemented by the unique 'deep waffle rib' plasma cell structure of the PDP-503MXE. The cells produce greater light emission by making each cell deeper thus increasing the phosphor area, and preventing light leakage from neighboring cells by casing each cell with horizontal ribs. For multimedia content the PDP-503MXE offers an optional video card for digital RGB and Video Input/Output Terminals and a pair of side mounted speakers.

Bought the Pioneer PDP-LX5090 in December 2008 after many years wanting to upgrade to a plasma from our 28" Bang & Olufsen TV. Managed to get the TV on a special offer that was for one weekend only from an online retailer that was posted all over the net in December and the offer was too good to be missed. piaciono a lot and do not find them different from the better tv not dishes. Surely aesthetic it is more attractive because the flat screen occupies except for space in depth and above all is able to be attached also to a wall like pits a painting.
