Advantages: Great looks, great performance

Disadvantages: Can burn image onto screen if its left on long enough

Bought the Samsung PS42A457 because we needed a new TV for the living room (plus I was getting sick of the old 5ft deep TV that we had).

I shopped around for a while and looked at lots of brands from Sony to Samsung. I wanted something that looked great but could also delivery on the goods.

I picked the Samsung PS42A457 because it was big, slick and the performance is second to none. I have my sky HD and my ps3 linked into it.
Its comes on a swivel stand so you can rotate the TV itself to suit your position.

Standard ports behind the TV such as scart, HDMI etc

For those of you planning to use this as a PC monitor as well, it certainly does the job through a standard VGA cable but is limited to 1024x768
The one thing you should watch out for is if you leave something on pause or the sky TV guide up for a few hours then the image can burn into the screen.
