I bought this 42" Samsung TV for the student chill our area where I work - I got it for the very reasonable price of £497 from Amazon in September. I also got wall brackets to attach it to the wall, and it looks great - just the right size for the size of the room. The picture and sound is brilliant, and there is built in freeview which was easy enough to tune in - I haven't had any problems with the signal either.

I shopped around for a 42" plasma screen TV and this one was by far the best value at the time - I certainly wouldn't be willing to pay more than twice enough for other makes that have very similar specifications, and I have always found Samsung to be very reliable anyway. I am not particularly technically minded, but as far as I can tell it is a great picture, great sound and all of the freeview channels for a very reasonable price on a decent sized TV, so as far as I can tell it meets my specification perfectly!
