selling tvs this size almost identical at around £800! I was in desperate need of a knew tv and wanted soemthing big. And this is big all right a whopping 50 inches of tv screen! The tv looks fairly good on the wall too. Very stylish and up to date. However it is quite chunky and it sticks out a bit but not too much from the wall. Apart from the that I think it looks really good. The picture quality on this thing is fairly good but its not 1080p which I was quite dissappointed in. 720p is still good though. On watching football you can really see each individual blade of grass and the sweat beads on the brows of the players. in many ways you get more detail than if you were really there although perhaps not the same experience of the atmosphere of actually being there. This is partly because of the poor sound quality which is a bit dull and does not have the boom and definition of a surround system. The TV is less than a grand now so this is to expected that it cannot be good at everything. Therefore, I would recommend you get a sound package when buying the TV in the shop.
