I have a full HD S Samsung TV already so just wanted another for a different room. I am a big fan of Samsung TVs and for the price this one is an excellent buy. Set Up This really is dead simple to set up. Literally take it out of the box, assemble the stand (note you will need a cross head screwdriver for this) and attach the TV to the stand. This 2009 S Samsung Plasma TV is HD ready but only offers 720p, it should be 1080p nowadays. But its not all bad news for this 50" monster for a start it looks impressive, it s as big as a wall. vibrant natural colours. I have had many LCDS but this plasma at its great price was my favourite to date even a a non-plasma fan previously. OVERALL= Bargain tv with s Samsung quality of the top end LEDs regarding colour and contrast richness with an HD picture source. DOWNSIDES=Heavy tv OTHERS= The remote does it all but its abit big. It has a powersaving mode thus competing with lcds at around 170watts also has a very good standby system.Freeview is also included and 3 hdmis keep you happily hooked up.
