Playmobil toys are very popular with children.
When visiting my ma in law for a Christmas visit yesterday her boyfriend (no dear he is just a friend) gave my grandchildren some Christmas presents. My grandson received a playmobil safe crackers set. .
This would have cost £6.75 from John Lewis.

This set is a safe with working locks some money some gold, a briefcase, a welding torch and mask and two robbers.

The safe comes without the door fitted my grandson eventually after about 10 minutes fits the door and sets the locks. There is a dial with numbers which you have to set correctly to open the door, which numbers did you set Adrian? ummm. Oh well I start to go through all the combinations he could have chosen 48 different combinations after about 390 try's I get it the number id then written down . . The money is put in the safe there are 12 pieces of plastic made to look like a few notes. The gold is put in the safe too. Then along comes the robbers, two play Mobil people are about 7cm tall. The robbers with the welding torch and mask plus a little inside knowledge of the code break open the safe. They stack some of the money into the briefcase pick up the gold and escape. Not long after we hear the playmobil police car here come the police who eventually catch the robbers and tell them they are naughty the robbers then get put in a margarine tub jail. (The police car is not part of this set it was chance that Adrian took it to great grandmas)

I think this is an ok toy and that it will get played with. Playmobil toys are well made last a long time
.Adrian seems pleased with it. Playing with this set will encourage imaginative play (I just hope he does not turn into a bank robber Grandma's Friend)
