One of the presents my grandson aged 4 got for Christmas was a playmobil police car. My daughter bought this on ebay for a fraction of the new price and it is in perfect condition.
Playmobil toys are available at a lot of toy shops new prices vary. I looked on line found it £17.99p at http://www.enchanted-wood.co.uk/acatalog/Police.ht ml
Amazon has some for £24.45!
Tesco sell it for £20.86p

Playmobil make a couple of police cars this one is the car 3904 not the smaller 6737 car in the 123 series of toys.
This police car is suitable for children aged 4 and over.

I forgot to measure Adrian’s car when he was here and can find no info about size but it is about 6 or 7 inches long. This police car is a 4 seater sedan it comes with 2 police officers one man one woman, Adrian only got one policeman with his second hand car.
The police officers come correctly uniformed with holsters and pistols; they have handcuffs and walkie talkies. The boot of the car opens and shuts. In the boot of the car are a flash light fire extinguisher megaphone binoculars and a warning triangle
This car has working blue lights powered by 2 AA batteries.

Playmobil toys are well made. Th are a brand that are often bought and used in child care settings. There are many play scenes that can be made by using play Mobil toys
Most little boys love a police car Adrian is no exception

On Christmas day he sat on the floor playing with his police car nnn nahh nee nah he went stopped the car got out his police man told his granddad he was a naughty boy was under arrest and had to go to prison granddad was duly escorted to prison (Conservatory).Adrian’s police car then went on traffic control by racing around the sitting room floor and banging into other cars.! he called the ambulance on the walkie talky he used his policeman’s voice < Adrian was then reminded that granddad was still in prison so he pushed the police cat to the conservatory the police man told granddad not to be a naughty boy again and let him out of the conservatory > I can see Adrian getting hours of fun out of this toy> He will have to be that his little sister does not get hold of the removable police hat as it will fit perfectly careful in her mouth > the playmobil policemen are a bit small for an under 3 year old. The people can be a bit fragile if you are heavy handed or stand on them.

Playmobil make other toys to add to this to may play scenes there is a police station and prison. A police van and police bike. Traffic lights and roads signs too. Your child can get lost in his /her play world arresting, rescuing helping. This police car is useful as a tool in a play therapy session, helping play out real life experiences involving policemen, helping your child make sense of the world.
