For those who are not familiar with playmobil - you have to put it together yourself.
This set comes with ten people - 2 adults and 8 children, a merry go round swing which seats six, a crocodile see saw, a dinosaur slide, a sandpit (complete with bucket, spade, rake, watering can and sieve.) 4 bikes, a tyre swing, a crocodile swing, trees and flowers, a bin, a basket, a bike stand, squirells, etc. Some of the people also have hats.

This is our second playmobil set (we also have the fire engine) and if you think playmobil is expensive then at first glance i would agree but now i can see why. The detail is second to none and the material is of high quality. My three year old son loves this set. My daughters who are nearly two also love it, but because of all the tiny pieces being a choking hazard they can only play with it under complete supervision. This is set number 4070. Having two children and a few generous relatives who like buying toys come Christmas and Birthdays means, like many families, we have quite an extensive collection of toys. Playmobil is perhaps one of our favourite and most played with items, and this set is the first Playmobil we ever acquired, as with many good toys on the recommendation of a friend who said that her children loved it. The Playground Set is currently £39.99 at Toysrus, but generally retails at around the £30 mark, which is how much I believe Granny paid for it. The Playmobil Playground Set is one of the more fun Playmobil sets on the market, especially for slightly younger children. Toys R Us usually sell this for £39.99 but have been selling it for £29.99 since just before Christmas. It doesn't seem to be that widely available from other retailers but do look around for the best price of course. When you open the box, you find a big mass of pieces which require you to assemble and sort out. That will explain the reasonable price then! There's a sticker sheet in this too which is never my favourite thing to see in toys that already require a load of assembly, why can't they just print on the parts that require ...
