... that my son whilst loving to play with the rabbits only tends to play with it alongside either his vet sets by taking them to be treated or as a part of his farm for the farmer to visit.
As a parent I am happy for him to play with this toy and develop his imagination and understanding of animals. The set lends itself well to both of the objectives. This small set from Playmobil was bought as a treat for my son from a dotting grandma a while ago. He doesn't really have any farm items in the Playmobil sets so this is very much played with as a stand-alone set or with his Happyland farm which is still played with several years since being bought. The set is very simple to construct as it consists of attaching the two cages to one another and putting the doors on the rabbit cages. The only other construction needed is to put the farmer's hat on so this makes it an ideal set for children to first get to grips with Playmobil. This Playmobil Rabbit Pen set (4491) retails for around £7 depending on where you buy it from. I don't think it's worth quite £7 to be honest, but if you shop around you'll find it available for slightly less than the retail price from some shops. I think it's a nicely detailed little set and that it has some play appeal on it's own at least. It doesn't just have to be bought as an addition to a larger set, so that in part helps to justify the price tag despite the small box. Playmobil 4491: Rabbit Pen We have just started purchasing Playmobil items for our little one as Playmobil has always been highly recommended to us by our friends with youngsters as well as those who had sets when they were young. This is a lovely little set for animal lovers, it's about £6 to £7. It comes with the two teir rabbit hutch and both doors open, there are four rabbits each one different, it also comes with the rather interesting little man I think he's supposed to be a farmer! with his basket and some carrots and lettuce for the hungry bunnies! The farmers hat also detaches so if you have other playmobil figures you can have great fun putting the hat on other characters!
