Advantages: Great graphics,great controls,loads of different jets addictive game play

Disadvantages: could be more realistic, 2 player mode could be better (views)

Well what can i say ace combat 4 is a great fighter jet game.It has great control and graphics enabling you to have a first person view,actualy sitting in the cockpit so u can see all the controls and look arond you and third person view.Very detailed jets using actual real life counterparts e.g. f117's (stealh bomber's).The game play is a bit tricky at first but once u get used to the controls and all of the display's bar the fact that your not putting your body through g force you actualy feel like your flying a fighter jet.Another nice point about the game is that the further you progress through the game you can buy more fighter jets with money you earn buy completing missions plus you can buy different missiles or bombs for your jet or purchase different paint jobs.The story line to the game is great i feel that some games are just mindless point and shoot tasks and get repetitive in time.But ace combat 4 gives you a feeling of involvment and that you actually are a fighter pilot.The only thing i thought that let the game down is the two player mode as you only get one view and the battles can be very short.There are various game modes to keep you interested tho.There is campain mode which puts you straight in to the game and unveiling the story as you progress.You also have a challenge mode which puts your skills as a fighter pilot to the test.Overall this is a must have game with very addictive game play and a great feel all round
