Reviews on "Playstation 2 Games"

Happy Feet (PS2): ... have to say I was very disappointed in this game. I bought it last year for my partner as a Christmas present, as one of the games which he really was looking forward to getting, and by Christmas night he had it completed the whole thing. The entire game lasted maybe about three hours maximum and was a very repetitive and boring game. It basically has you copying the penguins dance moves. This is done by you memori...

tokyorose888 Devil Kings (PS2)
... Kings. When i fisrt saw this i thought it was good but after a while it ended up being repetitive and boring. It seems like a copy of Dynasty warriors which is a far better option to choose from. Ok, so the genre is called hack and slash and that is what you basically do, you press any button to basically hamper up a combo or use a special to hit hundreds and millions of people running around trying to attack you. There are quite a few charcters to choose from and they all have their own speciality, some use guns, some use swords. There are separate stories for each of the characters which require you to kill the general in a battle or just to prevent yours...

tom1clare Silent Hill: Origins (PS2)
... Hill: 0rigins (SH0) received a rather low-key build up by the series normal standards when it was released for the PS2 in May 2008, the minimal fanfare a result of it being a port of the PSP version. Being the Silent Hill-loving masochist that I am though, this news (and the mixed reception it received from the press) did little to curb the near-ridiculous levels of excitement I experienced at the prospect of getting my teeth into more survival-horror action from Konami. It is a prequel set before the 1999 PSOne original and features a truck-driver named Travis, who, much like the SH1 s protagonist Harry Mason, comes to a halt in Silent Hill when he narrowly avoid...

jamesbm The Simpsons Game (PS2)
... can happily say that the Simpsons game is a huge set up from the Simpsons hit and run. The game has the same audio clips from all the characters and adds fun to the game, however these one liners become tiresome as they are reapeated constantly with each character possessing two to three lines each. gameplay is very entertaining and the campaign is surprising long and not as easy as excepted, the game provides fun for both young children and teenagers. The real maximum age at which the game would become dissapointing would be around 16. The graphics are very impressive considering the playsation 2 platform. the game has wacky and arcady style fun backed up by the strang...
