Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria (PS2) ... rebelling against him, Odin transmigrates Silmeria s soul with the Sovereign s Rite. However, the spell is incomplete, and Silmeria awakens within Alicia, the princess of Dipan. Realising Silmeria has awakened, Odin seeks to bring divine intervention down upon her. I like how the story of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria pans out, the twists are intriguing. The voice-acting is okay but the lip-synching for the FMV sequences are not. Also, the cut scenes seem to suffer from excessive blur - I would attribute this to compression perhaps rather than the shots being out-of-focus. And as detailed as the graphics are, light appears artificial and white, and there are fake shad... Read the full review: A Battle Maiden Asgard by scream4bruce |

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater (PS2) ... of my greatest gaming memories is with this game. Hideo Kojima has shown pure excellence as he did with MGS1 and as he partly did with MGS2. Easily the best in the series. Although this is a sequel, it is actually a prequel to MGS1 in terms of storyline. You are in the 60s, playing as a Foxhound veteran, Naked Snake. That s right, not Solid Snake. Naked Snake the father of the Snakes and will later go on to make three clones of himself; Solid, Solidus and Liquid Snake. Infiltrating through jungles and camps, using camouflage and acting as a ghost in the wilderness is really as fun as any game can get. As you progress through, you will have to fight each and every... Read the full review: A perfect game in every sense by Corrado |

Final Fantasy X (PS2) ... Fantasy 10 - one of the best in the series for me personally it was a joy to play a really long playstation 2 game as i found that they was gettin shorter with each release. The game starts out with wonderfull visual graphics of a cutscene of some underwater sport known as blitzball. Now when i first played it the graphics blew me away i wondered why no other playstation 2 games before it had even managed to come near this sort of graphics. You start of playing Tidus and the town is being attacked by some monster you meet up with someone Tidus knows who goes by the name of Auron. You go through the basic training of the battle system. You fight your way through th... Read the full review: Final Fantasy 10 by grendalion |
