Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) ... game was almost perfect in everything i could ask for on a playstation 2 video game. The story was long, very enjoyable and i found myself being able to play it multiple times which is very rare for me as i usually get bored if i know what the story line is. I felt like the only thing that would have made this game better would have been a true split screen. If they would of somehow done that it would have been the best game i had every played. It is way better than the new grand theft auto it just lacks some of the graphics. But this game didnt even need the new console graphics. Odin Sphere (PS2) ... brother purchased this game second hand from a car boot sale and it is great. The 2D graphics/designs look great. Odin Sphere is probably the best looking (at the very least visually intriguing) 2D game i have ever seen. All the artwork and graphics are extremely detailed and very well designed. my brother however says the game itself isn t all that special. There are some design flaws that slows down the pacing of the game despite it being a sidescrolling hack n slash/action game which ideally should be quick. When you want to use "magic" you have to pull up a menu which pauses the game and select it. Same goes for using items. He was unsure if it was his ... Onimusha - Warlords (PS2) ... the majority of the game, the player controls Samanosuke, whom the Oni give their power to so that they can get their own back on the demons. With the gauntlet he can absorb the souls of defeated enemies to enhance goods as well as replenish health and magic. His partner kunoichi Kaede does not have such ability but is fast on her feet, so a different approach is likely. Despite tank-like controls, the combat is decent and the player-character is able to back off quickly. There is also a 180 degree turn.
