Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a shooter for the Playstation 2 developed by EA games. Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is the first of the Battlefield titles to contain a storyline and it does very well for a first attempt, you play as soliders working for both the US NATO forces and Chinese soldiers who are both going to war, the game shows you propaganda in the form of TV broadcasts from both sides and it is fun to see what they both think of eachother! Battlefield 2 modern combat sounds a bit like a sequel and in a way it is a sequel to the PC battlefield games, it is however totally unrelated to the battlefield 2 PC games except by setting and name. The controls are easy enough to learn for both infantry, parachute and vehicles, there are no planes in this game but there are helicopters, jeeps and tanks some maps have civilian looking vehicles, so the drivers amongst us need not fear. I love this game its fab! This game is a combination of snipering, armoured cars, tanks and anything you can think of. Believe it or not you can do all these things on different missions. This game has really good graphics showing realistic combat. In the game you can earn medals for so many shots in a row and also headshot get rewarded. The more medals you earn lead to unlocking more weapons. Online mode is good for kicking your friends butts! where you can have one on one battles or team events. This is a good battle field game there is lots of missions and side missions for you to do. The game doesnt have much of a story. There is armoured cars, boats, helicopters, planes and many other veichles for you to drive around massive maps fufiling objectives and parachuting from planes and helicopters to complete them. There are hundreds of missions and as you go you gain stars so you can go up through the ranks from private to corperal to 1st class corperal to colonel.
