Advantages: fun little game

Disadvantages: 2d game, and free online

Bomberman is a game that is a cross between an action game and a strategy game. The aim of this game is to kill all your opponents by blowing them to bits using either their own bombs, or bombs that you drop.

You play as one character (they all look exactly the same except for the colour) on a map with 3 other players (either computer controlled or you can play your mates or any combination). The map is a 2d sort of map, with boxes at the start separating the players. Some of these boxes are "wooden" and can be destroyed, revealing either power ups, such as increase speed, more bomb production, or handicaps, such as your controls being reversed.
This game is really more of a bit of fun rather than a serious playing game. Its advantages are that it is suitable for all ages, but it has many disadvantages.
Firstly, this game is available online, for example, if you google "play with fire", you get almost the exact same game, but for free, and online without needing any special console. Secondly, although the game has "3d graphics", it still in essence is a 2 dimensional game, as you can only go up, down, left and right, there is no "depth". This makes this game feel "cheap".

So my summary?
Don't bother with this game, just play the online flash version for free, as you can also play the flash game with friends, and is a lot more "portable", all you need is the internet!
