Broken sword 3 was the first version of the series to incorporate a non point and click style to the game, it used a normal movement using the analogue buttons, this took away from the game I think, plus numerous bad camera angles didn't help, the point and click style was always best and glad they bought it back for the 4th instalment. Unfortunately I didn't get into this game as much as the previous 2, maybe because this was on the ps2 and I was too used to the pc version, but that's probably another aspect of me liking the point and click better, the storyline didn't excite me and neither did the final missions which was extremely unrealistic, at least with ... I loved the first two Broken Sword games. They came out a good few years ago and we played them on PC then. I eagerly awaited the third game but have been hugely disappointed. The graphics just don't compare with contemporary games, the lip syncing is terrible and there is no fluidity to the character's movements. My dp got quite frustrated that Nico wouldn't run when he wanted her to! The concept is still good and it's certainly a challenge finding your way through the game, but we found it so slow moving compared to more recently produced adventure/action games that we've not bothered to play the game through to the end.
