Advantages: Just like a quiz show, gr

Disadvantages: Nothing major, a slight niggle or two

This was the first Buzz title to appear on the PS2, and I am glad it wasn't the last! This game was an instant hit with us, our family and our friends! I bought this game pretty much immediately when it first came out, I LOVE party games and this one came with cool quiz show type buzzers!

The presentation of this title is nice and slick and it really does feel like a quiz gameshow. The newer versions have had their graphics, etc polished a bit since, but this title still holds it's own.

The buzzers are nice and solid, my original set are still going strong despite LOTS of use and abuse! (keep pressing buttons between questions to get Buzz to tell you off lol). The Buzz Junior range generates a LOT of button bashing too and these buzzers still look and feel like new, very well made.

This is still one of my favourite titles in the range because I loved music up until the late 90's (I'm a bit out of touch now) and this title covers from the 60's right up to the early 2000's.

There are a great variety of rounds to play ranging from untimed rounds where you just need to answer for a set number of points, to rounds where the question and answers are slowly revealed and you have to buzz in before everyone else. There are single player options, but really this is a game to play with mates.

There are a few annoying aspects to the game though...though it may just be my friends' mind-set lol. In the last round the question/answer is slowly revealed and you're meant to buzz in when you know the answer....if my friends aren't winning they just buzz in immediately and take random guesses, meaning that it's quite common for me not to get to even answer a question in that last round. It usually results in me winning, but it's still annoying that I end up missing out on the chance to answer questions.

There are a few other slight niggles, but all in all it's a brilliant start to what has become an awesome series!

Summary: A great party game, don't play it alone
