Advantages: 4 players at once. Lots of different types & age groups of music.

Disadvantages: Newer Buzz games allow for 8 players at once. Not much fun on your own.

Jason Donovan plays the charcater of Buzz in this game & welcomes you to the Buzz Music quiz.

I think this is an interesting video game concept. A quiz show in your living room. Each player from 1-4 is equiped with their own individual buzzer. The Buzzers have 5 different buttons. 1 big red one, & 4 equally sized smaller ones.

You play the game by have different sorts of questions read to you which you then try to answer on your buzzer as quickly as you can before any one else manages to answer. The quicker you answer the more points you get. Some of the questions are picture related & visual. Some of them are sound based.

In this game (the first of the series) the quetions are completely based on music. Picture questions will have you trying to identify album covers. Audio questions will have you trying to recognise which song you are listening too.

I really ejoy this game. It's great to get 4 people around the PS2 all taking part in the quiz all trying to win. You can even cut the quiz down to specific decades to make it more age specific. We always have lots of fun when we get it out.

Summary: A really great party game. Maybe look at the newer ones first!

The buzzers are needed. The game does come with the buzzers but you can be bought without because there are quite a few different versions of the game around & they can all be bought with or without buzzers. Buzzers can also be bought on their own. You get a box for them this way too.

Do the buzzers come with the game or do you have to purchase them seperately? If the latter, can you use the PS2 controller instead of the buzzers?
