Call of Duty 2 The Big Red One is a shooter for the Playstation 2 developed by Treyarch. The game puts you in the role of a soldier in the Big Red One squad which is different from most other Call of Duty titles which have you join multiple squads and see the action from many different perspectives. The storyline takes you from the beginning to the end of the USAs campaign in World War 2 covering the liberation of Africa and even taking you into Germany for the final assault. Call of Duty 2 is a well-developed but poorly thought out game. Sounds like a contradiction? Let me explain. The gameplay is really quite good. Set in battle in World War 2, you take control of one character as part of a team to perform certain missions from the war. Rather than being a blast everything you see game, you do have to plan ahead a little. You can carry a maximum of 2 weapons at a time and both have limited ammunition. More bullets are available from certain areas and can be taken from the dead, however if you shoot like crazy, you will soon end up with no useful weapon at all and you will end up as one of the dead too.
