Way of the Samurai 2 (PS2) ... decided to buy this game after playing the original Way of The Samurai when i was a child. I found the original highly entertaining and when i saw this was coming out i rushed to buy it. Compared to the original, WS2 is a much faster paced game with a larger map layout and many more civilians. If you have ever played the original, you ll know what a let down it is to only be able to upgrade your sword and do limited things. With WS2 however, you can customize your sword and clothes, fight in dojo competitions, visit the great monument or if you feel you re ready, face the Grand Master. Killer 7 (PS2) ... a multitiude of First Person shooters out there you really need something different to set you out from the crowd, with Killer 7 thats exactly what you get, instead of worrying too much about the detail of the characters in this, it takes on an almost comic book look and it s all 2D surroundings, sounds bad but it s actually pretty gritty and imaginitive. You play a wheelchair bound guy with 7 split personalities and you control him in the game as he goes around killing folk. Decent and novel premise, a good start for me. Resident Evil 4 (PS2) ... me this is the best horror game ever made. The graphics are wonderful although this is a direct port from the gamecube. This time the AI of the Zombies is far improved, they re not the one dimensional brain eaters that they once were. This obviously adds tot he challenge of the game as previously it was a little easy always knowing what the Zombies were going to do. My favourite part of the game would be the sound, it s as eerie as anything you ll hear in a horror film and the closer you get to a threat in the game the music increases in volume and weirdness.
