Advantages: The fun

Disadvantages: Mainly for kids not adults

This game came out just after the movie, and was available on a lot of platforms, but I have only played it on PS2, so this my review. What I like about this game is the fact that it is so similar to the film, and features everything in it, well almost everything. It includes all of our favourite characters, and for that reason I love this game. I have come to the conclusion that when this game was brought out, they were aiming it for young children, especially those that enjoyed the film, however saying this, I enjoyed the game so I think that it had a much bigger consumer group than that of what they were expecting. It is all about cars, obviously, and the cars that live in a city that is invaded with forign cars, sounds silly I know, but it is actually quite good.

Like many car racing games, there are a number of different cars that you can choose from, and each of those cars have their own advantages and disadvantages. The gameplay is pretty simple, and there are a large number of challenges that you need to complete in order to win the game. You can only progress onto one challenge if you have completed the previous one, which is usually the case in all games of this nature. This is a brilliant game and can keep kids entertainment for many hours, and it also kept me busy for a while, but thats the child in me.
