First of all this is the best manager game you can get on the PS2. Thats not saying much as LMA Manager and Premier Manager have all been pretty poor. You'd be going all the way back to the Amiga to trace the origins of Championship Manager, back then it was a revolution in football gaming as it was so highly detailed and let you control every part of the team you managed. As time went on the Champ Man brand got bigger and was huge on the PC but at somepoint Eidos pulled out of the brand and the games real creator was left in the cold.
