Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (PS2)

I loved the film and the book and was very keen to play the game. Wow it was hard!!!! There is an awful lot of fighting in this game and we have got stuck towards the end of a great battle - we just cant complete it. Definately feels like its more of an adults game to a child's game. you can play as the 4 more children characters who all have there own special moves and are equiped with different items. THe game is really long and i think we have been playing for around 28 hours now and are still not completed! The Chronicles of Narnia have always had a warm place in my heart,being from the books, tv series to the awesome movie. So i was a tad worried when i heard they were going to make a game tie in as they usually suck to be honest. Luckily for this one it didn't, the gaming style is very familiar to the Lord of the Rings return of the king game (also a fan) which was great, as it is very simple to pick up and play and doesn't take ages on tutorials etc The games graphics are VERY good and it also features great cut scenes from the epic move to tie the story nicely together. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe game is one of the best games I have played in ages. It is based around both the book and the film and involves helping Peter, Susan, Edmund and Peter to battle through the ice and blizzards to protect their friends and save Narnia. This is done by tackling problems, searching for items and fighting against the creatures that have invaded the world. I got the game for Christmas and in total it has probably taken me about 30 hours to complete it. Some levels are extremely easy whereas others require a bit of logic and perseverance.
