Dance Factory (PS2)

I found Dance Factory to be an absolutely dull and useless game. I bought it early last year, hoping to finally be able to play tracks that I was interested in listening to, rather than the awful cheese that is usually supplied with a dance game. Although this is a feature, it takes ages for your song to load, so if you haven't already lost interest by the time it has finally loaded, you end up disappointed at the lack of correlation between the dance steps and the beats in the song. Its another dance mat game, you can buy it for around £30 with the mat or £18 without, i believe any other PS2 mat will work fine with it tough. Having played another dance mat game at a friends house a few times before, I was looking to get one for myself. If you haven't used a dance mat before, they're really good fun, basically you pick the music and the game brings up dance moves on the screen. I bought this game about 3 days after christmas from play.com. I liked the fact that you could insert any CD in the player and the dance moves will be generated. When you first put the CD in the PS2, you have a choice of whether to generate the moves to one song or the whole CD. This is also good if you only like certain songs on certain CD's. When the game is generating the dance moves, you have a chance to play Cubrix, which is a very addictive game, much like tetris but a 3d version and it spins (NOTE: the dance moves will take longer if you choose to play the game!).
