Advantages: Cool feeling game

Disadvantages: Gameplay a bit poor

Well if you're looking for a cute little platformer then look away now as i'm gonna be looking at Dead to Rights 2 : Hell to Pay! I'l admit i'm a huge sucker for an action game with a cheesey title. This one ranks up there with my want to watch Cobra and Lethal Weapon over and over again. Must have been because I grew up in the 90's that I have this fascination with badly acted action movies and games.

Dead to Rights is a bit like Resident Evil mixed with Max Payne, it's a 3rd person shooting game where you are the good guy walking around killing bad guys. If you want a better plot than that however then maybe this isnt the game for you. This is definitley an "ask questions later" game.

Graphics - I liked them , nice and gritty they really gave off an air of street crime and all the environments you play in look really cool , a bit blocky at times but still good.

Gameplay - A let down to be honest, the character doesnt seem to do what you ask it to but there are instances where the game flows well and you'll get lost in it.

Sound - Cheesey rock music abounds the game, again something I like so I can't complain here and the gunshots sound good.

Longevity - Ok i'll be truthful, you'll probably play this for a few hours and rarley go back to it, it's fun in the short term but compared to a Max Payne you won't keep going back for more.

Overall - A good game which I wouldn't say too many bad things about. I got it for £4.99 and it was worth every penny so if you see it cheap then give it a look.

Summary: A decent action game let down by a few faults
