Dead to Rights (PS2)

Dead to Rights is a shooter developed by Namco. The games story puts you in the shoes of Jack Slate who is a member of the police force K9 squad, out on patrol one night he finds his own father murdered and has to hunt to find the killer and bring them to justice, there's just one twist in the game he is framed for the murder himself so has to take out the corrupt police officers and foes alike. The story is quite reminiscent of the Max Payne games only it is not told or developed as well. This is one of those games where you get to shoot and kill large numbers of bad guys in a shoot em up frenzy which is pretty entertaining and great fun to play. In the game you play the role of Jack Slate a cop in a crime ridden city called Grant City. When a close friend is murdered you set out to get revenge and killing anyone who gets in your way.
