Ahhh...Devil Kings. When i fisrt saw this i thought it was good but after a while it ended up being repetitive and boring. It seems like a copy of Dynasty warriors which is a far better option to choose from. Ok, so the genre is called hack and slash and that is what you basically do, you press any button to basically hamper up a combo or use a special to hit hundreds and millions of people running around trying to attack you. There are quite a few charcters to choose from and they all have their own speciality, some use guns, some use swords. Given the popularity of fantasy fiction I have always wondered why there are not considerable more games based around a fantasy theme, there are a lot but somehow I always thought there would be more, still Devil Kings is a worthy addition to the genre. Set in a sort of Feudal Japanese setting with a liberal use of the anime style of animation in some of the story telling scenes you get to play as one of six characters each of whom have different fighting styles. For example there is the Devil King who makes use of sword and shot-gun whilst the rather strange Puff is a little girl who wields a huge hammer and speaks with an accent from the American deep ...
