This is a review on the game Devil May Cry for the Playstation 2. Devil May Cry was first going to be a sequel to the Resident Evil games, but then as it had completely different moves, and style of game, they decided to make it as their own series of games. Devil May Cry was first released into the UK at the year 2001; it struck the gaming world by force and became very popular from the start. This game is made by Capcom (the creators of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat). The story is about a man called Dante, but he is no ordinary mad, he has special powers, from the likes that no one has, he is Half Human, and Half Devil. He is the son of Nelo Angelo, whom wealds the ... Read the complete review

With Devil May Cry 2 about to be released, I thought that know is as good a time as any to try and tell you about the first one. This is a one-player game from Capcom for Playstation 2. In order to play you need an 8MB Memory Card and the game needs 420KB of space. The disc conforms to Playstation 2 specifications for the PAL market only. It is Analogue Control compatible (analogue sticks only) and Vibration Function compatible. That means that if you have the vibration function on then the controller will vibrate when you attack or are attacked (no rude thoughts now! The controller should only stay in your hands!). The story goes that the ... Read the complete review

It's been a long time since I've really enjoyed myself playing a video game. Usually the rubbish that I contend against fall into the categories of so-called "RPG's" or for the unenlightened "Role Playing Games". Yeah, yeah I know, RPG's are meant to be fun and immersive and all that. Yet games like Baldur's Gate and the Final Fantasy series have points in them where you feel as though you're wandering about aimlessly trying to figure out what the hell is the point in saving the world anyway. Not so with this product. Devil May Cry. Interesting title, strangely woven into the game somehow, as read from the ... Read the complete review

Devil may cry Intro This, I thought when I looked at a review in PC gamer, didn’t look like my type of game. How wrong was I. This is one of those games where you know that there will be a sequel many times over. Infact I think that it is set to go the way of the resident evil series. The best part The best part about the game is that it is kinda fantasy genre so you get all the weird weapons and powers which reminded me of the final fantasy series. But instead of hat annoying tern-based style, you have full gun-ho action. Unlike so many games to date, Dante’s movement is completely fluidic even when he performs ... Read the complete review

It's been a long time coming, that is a game that opens up a new element within a genre that was becoming repetative in it's gameplay - The genre I refer to, of course, is 'Survival Horror', the game is 'Devil May Cry'. Survival Horror games have been pleasurabley scaring most of us to sleeping with the light on for some time now, from the original 'Alone in the Dark' (Pre-Resident Evil believe it or not !!') up to 'Silent Hill 2/ Resi Evil: Code Veronica'. 'Survival Horror' games have not changed in concept for quite some time and we have seen little or no variation on the theme (Walk down hall, search doors, find ... Read the complete review
