A Dog's Life is a 3D action adventure game based on a dog - an idea that I haven't come across in any other game! If you exclude the first versions of the Commandos series on PC's and the Dead to Rights, very few dogs have appeared -even in the role of a helper of the main hero. THE PLOT The user is taking the role of Jake. Jake is a small but very clever dog the lives in a classic country house of the west states of America. Jake is in love with Daisy (how cute!) and when she is been kidnapped and taken away in a small truck, a big journey starts for Jake as he goes to find her. But he soon realise - very clever dog indeed! ... Read the complete review

Dog's Life is obviously a game more targeted for kids, but older gamers may find it entertaining. I am 26 years old and I enjoy it. I find it helps me to relax because it is so simple. BACKGROUND / STORYLINE ======================== The games storyline is straightforward . There is not much to Dog's Life, but what there is I find is entertaining enough. You control a dog called Jake who hangs around in the town of Clarksville doing doggy things and pining after girl dog Daisy. One day Daisy gets dognapped and Jake sets out to find and free her. Jakes adventure takes him through farms, towns, and ski slopes as he follows clues to get Daisy ... Read the complete review

Jake and Daisy are farm dogs in a small town in the country. When Daisy is kidnapped by a pair of evil dognappers working for the mysterious Ms Peaches Jake sets off to find her. His quest takes him out from the farm through a resort, a small town and finally the big city. On the way of course, he meets a number of other dogs, and takes every opportunity to indulge his love of bones... Its a fairly thin plot, but the gameplay is innovative, the characters simple but amusing and the puzzles different enough to hold a player's interest. Jake is a typical dog - he barks, digs, raids litterbins and marks territory. There are a range of dog-themed subgames ... Read the complete review

I got this game, thinking it would be a fun, stupid game i could play when i was bored. What i got was a surprisingly deep game which spanned many different detailed areas and many small quests to go along with the big quest. The main dog characters "girlfriend" dog gets kidnapped, so you have to set of, on a journey to get her back. Travelling thorugh various locations including cities, snowwy Ski resorts and the country side, you are in a race to get your girlfriend back. The graphics were nice, and the open environments gave enjoyment from simple running round, pooing, eating dog bisquits and sniify out smells which are shown was a ... Read the complete review

What a dog awful game. I truly felt, after just a couple of hours gameplay, like i have been cheated out of the money i had spent on the game. . Fair dues, the game is not catered for the more experienced gamer, but you still expect some type of value for money. level after level of boring, repetitive gameplay, lackluster graphics, and the unbeleivabley bad 'smell vision'. The one thing this game has going for it is the realistic(ish) movement of the dogs. The easy game levels, based upon finding bones to out rank dogs that get in your way, is uncomprehensively boring. I honestly can not comprehend how this monstrosity of a game is allowed to be sold on the open ... Read the complete review
