Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (PS2) ... Sparking! in Japan and developed by the Fire Pro team at Spike, Tenkaichi aims to take everything that made the first three Budokai titles so popular and improve on them in every way. Rather than focus on a particular saga as the previous games did, Tenkaichi retells almost the entire DBZ story from scratch. Beginning with the arrival of Raditz in the Saiyan Saga and ending with the Goku's last journey in the Kid Buu episodes, Budokai should now hit every major plot point in the series' history. The game features a lineup of more than 60 other combatants -- the most ever in any Dragon Ball Z game -- including the entire Ginyu Force (including Guldo), all the Androids, all the Saiyans, every bad guy, and plenty of other surprises (giant monkey) will join up returning favorites like Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Frieza, and Ginyu so that you can recreate all your favorite battles.

The fighting is fast and furious and the character moves are easily mastered as each character has the same basic moveset, there are some really cinematic special attacks and moves you can do with each character having two different special moves and one super powerful ultimate move from Veget...more

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi is a fighting game for the Playstation 2 developed by Atari. The story mode in this game is a full retelling of the Dragonball Z storyline from the arrival of the Sayain Raditz on Earth to the battle against Majin Buu, as a fan myself I really enjoyed the experience of taking on the major battles of the series though it does pad it out with a large number of "training" battles so that the game isn't over to quickly, it also fits in with the show as the characters do a lot of training! The fighting system is completely unlike the previous Budokai games which played as a traditional side on fighter, this game ...  Read the complete review

I first want to start off be saying how i have bought every Dragon Ball Z: Budokai game before this one and was more than pleased with each of them but this one just shatters my expectations. The graphics are much, much more improved from the previous games. The game play, although most of the controls are the same as the previous game, includes much more improvements with the ability to teleport, turning into super saiyan easier and a already set list of attacks. The story mode that is in this game is superb! The story mode allows you to relieve all moments from the Dragon Ball Z games. This actually makes you feel like you are in the moment. Like every one of the ...  Read the complete review

This is a review of the newest Dragonball Z game called DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi. Released 21st October 2005, created by Atari and Spike which have made this one hell of a DragonBall Z game. Loads of characters to choose from, with different transformation forms for you to play with. This game has nothing to do with the Budokai series as this is done by different people and is why it has different characters and different way of gameplay. Experience the most complete DragonBall Z game ever! There are lots of decent features on this game. 50 unique characters in 90 powerful forms, each with his or her own strengths and strategies. Brand new 3D camera ...  Read the complete review

The best car chase simulator there is The on foot sections

Brilliant mix of brutal combat, exciting acrobatics and well implemented graffiti. Some odd graphical/sound glitches.

Much improved story mode, more characters, better graphics, fast paced acessable fighting None

huge selection of characters and moves and items to pick. Customise! Maybe a few fan pleasers, such as ability for all saiyans to go Super Saiyan?
