... old game is a classic in my opinion. 5 years after it was released and it is still the only PS2 racing game i play. I ve tried various others since like Gran Turismo but they become dull quickly. Burnout Revenge (PS2) ... Revenge is the fourth game in the successful Burnout racing series which is more about having fun and crashing than games like Gran Turismo which are more serious. I am reviewing the PS2 version from Criterion. Your main job is to become the best Burnout driver in World Tour mode. You do this by completing many different race types and get rated according to your performance. Modes include standard races, game modes like road rage where you have to take out a certain amount of rival racers, crash which is mentioned lower down and eliminator where the player in last place at a certain time will be eliminated from the race which keeps it exciting! Formula One 05 (PS2) ... a huge Formula One fan I had gone far too long since playing my last racing game on any sort of console, the last PC game I had was Grand Prix 3, the last ps2 game I had was F1 04 and I have never had/there has never been an F1 game released on the 360. So, what with having my old PS2 still lying around I decided to go to CEX and try and find the newest F1 game. Formula One 05 happend to be that game (unable to find 06), so, how did I get on with it? Gran Turismo 3 A-spec (PS2) ... game is possibly my favourite ever console game. When it first game out it was by far the best playstation racing game of its type and everyone rushed out to buy it. As it cam eto be gran turismo made itself one of the biggest names in racing games for consoles and i cna see why. This game featured lots of cars, form your bog standard clio s to your top of the range zonda s it really had everything. The gamre had many modes too. There was sprint, endurance rally etc etc, you could play on it for hours on end and not get bored! What made it so fun was that it was challenging.
