So, what with having my old PS2 still lying around I decided to go to CEX and try and find the newest F1 game. Formula One 05 happend to be that game (unable to f... Gran Turismo 3 A-spec (PS2) ... game is possibly my favourite ever console game. When it first game out it was by far the best playstation racing game of its type and everyone rushed out to buy it. As it cam eto be gran turismo made itself one of the biggest names in racing games for consoles and i cna see why. This game featured lots of cars, form your bog standard clio s to your top of the range zonda s it really had everything. The gamre had many modes too. There was sprint, endurance rally etc etc, you could play on it for hours on end and not get bored! What made it so fun was that it was challenging. You couldn t use an amazing car at the start and win everything, you started off buying small... Read the full review: Simply the best by cricketsam |

Midnight Club (PS2) ... a lot of respects, Midnight Club was wiped off of the map before its release thanks to the release of another racer that was a critical darling - Smuggler s Run. Nevertheless, this is a solid, if somewhat underwhelming game considering that, upon release, it was touted as one of the PS2 s early "killer apps". For its time though, it did boast some killer visuals - the vehicular models are very well rendered, and the lighting in particular is impressive as the cruise around the midnight streets and light from lamp posts reflects from your vehicle. The major cities depicted in the game, such as New York and London, aren t exactly represented here with accuracy... Read the full review: Decent if unremarkable by shaneo632 |
