From the very beginning, a strategy hack n slash game is born for the playstation 2, known as Dynasty Warriors 2. Back in the day when the game play was fresh, and was a massive difference from the original one on one fighting game for the playstation. Take up a legendary warrior, and shred through hundreds of enemies on massive scale battles. With this being the earliest instalment to KOEI's Official Dynasty Warriors series, there are only minimal modes that include Musou, Free and Options. Musou is like story mode, where you choose a character, and play through a set amount of battles, each getting bigger and harder as you progress. Fight your way ... Read the complete review

Dynasty Warriors 2 is an action game for the Playstation 2 developed by KOEI This game is a sequel to the first Dynasty Warriors on the original Playstation. It still follows the tales of soldiers fighting in the ancient Japanese battles depicted in the Romance of the Three Kingdom story. The stories you will be familiar with if you have played any other game in the series and actually isn't that compelling anyway! The gameplay has received a total overhaul from the simple fighting game it once was on the Playstation. In this game you can control your general, though the selection is very limited compared to later offerings, in real time on a large ... Read the complete review

When I was lucky enough to get my PS2 late last year, I was faced with the dilemma of which game to buy. The initial choice wasn’t great – I’m not really into sports games (certainly not enough to shell out £45 for one!) and none of the titles I recognised interested me. In the end it came down to that old classic – ‘Which has the best cover’. One in particular cover picture tickled my fancy (ooh!). A band of tooled-up Chinese warrior types, with big weapons and big attitudes, ready for a bit of butt-kicking...a quick inspection of the screen shots proved equally interesting, so I took the plunge and bought Dynasty Warriors ... This game is a good mix of action, strategy and RPG. The idea of the game is to pick a hero and guide him or her through seven battles. The difference here is that you are not entirely alone, but playing as part of an army. On each level, you will be given the task of defeating an overlord (end of level boss if you like), but in order to do this you must first defeat his armies and sub-lords. If all this was not enough, you must also ensure that the enemy armies don’t wipe out your own lord, which is where the strategy comes into play. Although it may seem simple enough to just take the fastest route across the map to fight the overlord, you may find that ... Read the complete review

This game gives you the ability to become one of the greatest warriors in acient times. What I like to do is to pick one personal warrior and suit them up and the a Masou mode will be a piece of cake! The game is about three powerful empires, which are fighting over the lands which is now China. You can play with many different heros, which all have different powers and abilities. Aventualy your empire can become the rulers of China! A good tip for this game is to get one character which you want to do a Mosou mode with, and instead of going straight into battle, the best thing to do is get a few points on Free mode so the Mosou mode will be easyer. ...
