	Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit (PS2) ... was skipping through the games in my local G-Force when I came across Victorious Boxing 2. I was skeptical but also really intrigued. Boxing games for me are an enigma, Fight Night was getting rave reviews and when I played it I must admit it was so realistic but for me that was a problem. To win at Fight Night you just move in punch, move out block and repeat that til you knock a guy down, it s just too boring. Unfortunatley this is the same again only with a different look and presentation, the most fun boxing game i ve played to date was Ready to Rumble. At least that had something extra. 	Psyvariar (PS2) ... the complex and ever-changing world of gaming, the 2D isometric shoot ‘em up has proven something of an enigma. The enduring genre dates back well over twenty years to the likes of R-Type and Ordyne, and playing 2002’s Psyvariar, it appears that some conventions are rigidly opposed to change. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The traits such games tend to follow include featuring an ultra-flimsy sci-fi storyline; daunting boss-battles; enormous high-score potential and an irresistible one-more-go factor.
